Great customer service food is just ok.

Authentic. Sauces are wonderful, though certainly not low calorie. I highly recommend Verona's.

This is one of mine and my husbands favorite place to come eat at. Every “real” Italian restaurant we have ever tried can’t hold a candle to the amazing taste you get here. The atmosphere is so nice, the perfect date night spot. I’ve celebrated 3 of my birthdays out of the last 4 years here and I know there will be more in the future. Highly suggest this place !

My husband and i first ate here while we were house shopping, moving from Texas to CenLa. We fell in love with the food and the family who owns the restaurant. When my parents and friends came to visit, this is where we took them all for dinner and they were very impressed with the food, atmosphere and the service! We just ordered take out for dinner tonight and we could not have chosen a better place! We would definitely recommend!

Went to eat there on a Friday night and at 8:11 they had a guy come up and say they were too busy and the restaurant was only half full! Then another guy came up with a tray of bread and said follow me and the other guy said no I’m serious we are to busy! We are there once before and had a good experience but not this time!

It's a nice white table cloth type of place. Good food and service.

My wife and I had a great time and a wonderful meal. Our waitress Brittany kept us smiling and made a good recommendation of the port wine sauce for the lamb chops. We will be back!

Oh my goodness, it's an authentic Italian resturant with outstanding food and friendly staff. Go once, and you'll want to go again and again. Don't worry about choosing something good to eat, as you can't go wrong with any choice.

I gave this a rating of 5 star because my family had an exceptional experience! The food was fresh, tasty and reflects home style cooking. I had Alfredo fettuccine and that was the best version I had over the years! Great atmosphere and children friendly. Above all that, we had the best waiter; Jason delivered an exceptional customer service, similar to what you can only find at FINE dining! He is awesome with children; my 4yr old said that is the best restaurant.

Actually the restaurant was closed. However, the other times I have eaten there were very enjoyable. The food was very good, plentiful and priced reasonably. Loved it!!

When I came in for a to go order, I was greeted by the friendly wait staff and the owner. She was very nice and I enjoyed the conversation! The food was excellent, what more can I say 😉?

Food was outstanding BUT the older blond lady at the host desk was cold and unfriendly, almost rude. Very abrupt in addressing me and why I was there (picking up called in order). Haughty. I was visiting from NC and had heard it was a great place for Italian. Next time I'll try some place else.

1 of the only 3 good Italian restaurants in town. And 1 of the 2 open for lunch. Everything is good. I love the pink sauce. This is Italian food! Tony is my pizon. Took my daughter in the kitchen to show her around and gave her a free dessert. Always engaging customers. Prices are just fine. You get plenty to eat.

The best Italian I have ever had. So much better the Olive Garden. The cook is very sweet and will come talk to you in his beautiful Italian accent. The waitstaff is great. The experience is great. Recommend going there for the next date night or pasta craving.

The best Carbonara outside of Italy! Delicious & authentic food thanks to Tony, great service thanks to John, & an intimate atmosphere that all helped take me back to Italy. The only thing missing was a good Limoncello, but I did get a tasty port to end the meal. You don't want to miss a visit to Verona while in Alexandria - I will definitely be back every chance I get!

I went in two days ago I'm staying at a very local hotel from there.she told me that I could get a pizza delivery and then I was given a menu that doesn't have pizza on it. Today I thought I would give you a second chance but you don't open until 5 it's time we quit trying you. You're getting a very low-ranking because that's what you deserve.

Another great anniversary here! The food was amazing! And the staff was great. They never fail. This year they weren't as busy this particular evening so it was even more romantic for us. Oh, and I highly suggest the cheesecake!

My wife and I used to love Pasta Garden in Baton Rouge and were saddened when it closed. For years we've tried other Italian restaurants in search of one that lived up to our old favorite. And NOW we've found it! The service was great and the food was FANTASTIC. Actually, even better! We'll be back often.Sep 6th, 2019, Back again for the fourth time. This place is SO good! It's not pretentious, food is superb and the prices are reasonable. LOVE it!

The food was excellent. Wait staff friendly & attentive to the patrons needs. The only drawback was the TV near the dining room, took away from the ambiance of the dining experience. Will definitely eat there again.

Consistently great food! You pay about half what you would pay for this quality in a bigger city! Service is always excellent and the owner himself, when he isn't cooking, comes to your table to ensure all is well. A jewel in Cenla!

Best Italian me and my family have had in a long time! The owner was super nice and was walked around talking to customers while we were visiting. Would make the trip back to Alexandria just for this restaurant.

The staff seemed frazzled and forgetful. We were brought another table’s orders twice. And had to wait a very long time for our food. In fact, the appetizer I ordered ten minutes before ordering entrees came well after we had gotten our entrees.As for the food, it was decent but not at all what I’d expect given the restaurant’s reputation around town. The pasta water hadn’t been seasoned at all and all of the sauces had been drastically over seasoned to compensate.We waited for our check for at least fifteen minutes and then waited another ten for the server to return the debit card.We will not be going back.

Garlic bread good but very little if any garlic. Lasagna had 2 noodles. One of them was gray green in color. Awful. Mostly cheese. Decent sauce.

Love this ristorante. My favorites are stuffed mushrooms and Italian sausage appetizers, and the Veal Picatta entre. Wife loves the Eggplant Parmesan. Their Tiramisu is to die for! Order it even if you have to take it to go.😋

Absolutely horrible place to go. The cashier acted very entitled when I asked for my food to be warmed up, she was very rude and scoffed at me as if I was a child. Of course nothing will happen to her because she is the owners wife. The food came out cold and very soggy. Then when it finally was warmed up it tasted like frozen chicken not even fresh, almost like they use a microwave, it's a disgrace to Italian food... Would not recommend, don't make my mistake.

Had a great experience with Deborah as our waitress. The chicken parm was delicious. Our server made the experience better. She was very attentive and very very sweet.

Stopped for lunch on our way through Alexandria. Pleasantly surprised. Both our pasta dishes and the Verona salad were excellent.

Enjoyed this place, even though I get the ribeye steak. Family run and don't be surprised if the owner stops by to visit your table. Quaint and we'll worth the stop.
